Younes Idrissi has resurfaced at Iona. This comes as a surprise to me after reading this article by Andrew Skwara on Rivals a while back. From the article... Don't expect former Georgia forward Younes Idrissi to seek a transfer. A source within the Georgia athletic department indicated that Idrissi, whose scholarship was recently revoked, will probably not play in the United States again. A native of Morocco, Idrissi was one of the few effective post players for the Dawgs last season, averaging 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and a team-high 1.5 blocks. He blocked five shots in the Dawgs' 80-67 loss in the first round of the SEC Tournament. I wonder if this transfer came as a surprise to the Georgia coaching staff as well...
