Bowl Eligible Due to Rule Change

A thread on the DawgRun brought something to my attention that I had not thought of. Georgia is indeed already bowl eligible with a 6-4 record. However, in years past only five of those wins would have counted towards bowl eligibility. One of those six wins was over Western Kentucky, a Division 1-AA team. Since the NCAA moved to the 12 game schedule this year, they now allow one win over a Division 1-AA opponent to count towards bowl eligibility.
