Tech Wrecked
8-4 has never felt so good. That was one heckuva game last night. After a pretty uneventful first half, the second half was crazy. I've never seen anything like Tony Taylor's fumble recovery for a touchdown. And that play looked way more confusing in person than when I saw it on tv when I got home.

Defense - Hats off to the Georgia defense. To hold Tech to two field goals when they had a short field was amazing. Paul Oliver's back to back pass breakups in the endzone were spectacular, especially the first one. Tech seemed to dominate the line of scrimmage with the running game. But in crunch time, Johnson, Moses, and co. were able to get pressure on Reggie Ball. That pressure on the final drive resulted in a sack and the interception by Oliver to ice the game.

Offense - Zero interceptions for Stafford in the past two games. He is coming of age. He managed the game, and didn't make any big mistakes (aside from the bad exchange from center). He threw the ball away, and he took sacks. Those are both huge. When you wait for the game to come to you, it works. When it was time for the big plays to be made in this game, they were made. What a great game for Mohamed Massaquoi. The route he ran on the touchdown play was a thing of beauty. He was double covered and split the defenders.

Overall - Another spectacular installment of Clean Old Fashioned Hate. This was a back and forth game that had several lead changes and momentum swings. Thankfully our offense, defense, and special teams came through for us in the fourth quarter. I really hope everyone got to hear Munson's call of the touchdown to Massaquoi. It was really a classic. If not, I'll put it in my highlight video...
