Willie Martinez to FIU?

The AJC is reporting that Willie Martinez is a candidate for the head coaching job at Florida International. That's right, the school that brawled with Miami. I wonder what the Dawg Nation would think about this if it happened. So many people wanted Martinez fired during the rough stretch of this season. But, considering how the defense played the last two games, I don't believe that Martinez leaving Georgia would be a good thing. I don't think Martinez would want to leave Georgia for this job. Then again, I wouldn't have thought Van Gorder would have left to coach linebackers for the Jacksonville Jaguars either. Martinez to FIU? Let's hope not. Image from OnlineAthens.com.
