Thank goodness. The NCAA actually did the right thing for once and did away with some ridiculous rule changes. No longer will the clock start when the ball is set on change of possessions. No longer will the clock start on kickoffs when the ball is kicked. Now we don't have to worry about this happening any more either.
Also amidst these rule reversals is a new rule. Teams will now kickoff from the 30 yardline rather than the 35. With Georgia's poor kick off coverage in recent years, this really concerns me. We could never kick it into the end zone as it was. Plus when we can, Richt likes that angled kick to the sidelines. Here's to hoping Drew Butler can kick it off deep.
