With the elevation of Joey Harrington to number two on the depth chart, D.J. Shockley once again finds himself competing to be the number three quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. If you didn't already know, Shockley will have Fred Gibson helping him along this year. The AJC has a nice article about the former college roommates trying to make the team.
I don't know what I think of Shockley's chances. I don't think we'll know until we see both Shockley and Redman play in the pre season. It was obvious to me last season that Shockley was better than Bryan Randall. But then again, I'm very biased.
By the way, whatever happened to DeepBall82.com?
