Jim Harrick Sighting

You may have read about the basketball game played with an 11 foot rim on Deadspin. However, Deadspin failed to point out that one of the coaches in the game was non other than Jim Harrick. Check out his quote from the AP article.

"I think this will open the professional league's eyes, where they may experiment with it, give it a serious look," said Jim Harrick, the former UCLA coach who was coaching one of the teams.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Former UCLA coach? Since when does Jim Harrick get quoted and the Georgia scandal not get brought up? I was pleasantly surprised by that.
