Basketball Roundup

In case you've missed them, Chip Towers has written a few articles about the basketball team lately. First, he told us about Mike Mercer's progress rehabbing his knee injury. Initially, I was concerned when I heard Mike wasn't in Athens over the summer rehabbing his knee. But, the article makes it sound like it worked out alright.

Next, we found out that Terrance Woodbury was briefly declared ineligible. He was reinstated soon thereafter. He played in a pro am tournament that he didn't get approval for. A similar incident happened with Chris Daniels when he was at Georgia if I recall correctly.

Finally, we have an article about this season's aspirations for both the men's and women's teams. The men want to make the NCAA tournament for the first time under Felton, while the women want to win it all. Personally, I think this will be the year Coach Felton and company break in to the big dance.
