Hoops Starts Tonight

The basketball season begins tonight with Georgia facing Jacksonville State at Stegeman Coliseum. If you can't make it to Athens, the game is being broadcast for free on GXtra. They did the same thing last year for the opener, and there were some technical difficulties. Hopefully that is all squared away now.

I'm interested to see what the new look Dawgs look like. It looks like true freshman Jeremy Jacob will start at forward. The starting lineup will look like this:

C - Rashaad Singleton
F - Jeremy Jacob
G - Terrance Woodbury
G - Billy Humphrey
G - Sundiata Gaines

In the off season I was kind of hoping it would look like this:

C - Albert Jackson
F - Takais Brown
G - Terrance Woodbury
G - Mike Mercer
G - Sundiata Gaines

Oh well. You have to play with the hand that you are dealt. The Dawgs shouldn't have any problems tonight anyway.
