Spurrier to Duke?

I doubt it, but he was seen at Duke today. What kind of slap in the face to South Carolina would that be if their coach left for...Duke?

But here is the most important question. If Spurrier went back to Duke, would he still put them in the top 25 every week?

  1. I think he was there on behalf of his son SOS jr. That's what the local spin is here anyways.
I think SOS stays at crackolacka for another 2 years & then gives up to retire...realizing what Lee Corso has known all along: you cannot win at south carolina.
What's hysterical to me is reading lamecock fans' comments on message boards saying SOS needs to go; that's he's not good enough to coach them to an SECC or MNC!

  2. Yeah I heard the same thing about Jr. after I put this up. But I still think it would be funny if he bailed on the Chickens.

  3. Oh, you and me both! Couldn't happen to a more deserving program.
A lot of folks on message boards believe SOS will jump to LSU if/when Miles heads to Michigan.
Again, I would laugh my ass off, but I don't think it will happen.
Unfortunately, despite the risk to his reputation & record, SOS seems determined to try to build an actual program at crackolacka.
Gives new meaning to the term "pipe dream"

  4. Aw, someone bitter the "lamecocks" probably cost UGA a shot at the national championship this year?
