The Deaner Live! - First half thoughts - South Carolina

- Every time I’ve read or heard that Smelley has to have a great game for SC to win, I felt good inside.

- Seeing Knowshon back to return a punt made me think of C. Grant running to the outside. It’s really fun to watch but unnecessary.

- Play Clock shenanigans… Thanks South Carolina, your quality always shines through. Is this game in Phillips Arena?

- I almost fell asleep a few minutes in to the 2nd qtr. I think we saw 1 football play in 9 minutes or so…

- Georgia just went down 7-3 and I refuse to be worried. SC just looks that less talented. Of course, this is why they play the games, as they say.

- Tripp Chandler has gotta go at least 1 for 3 on those balls he dropped so far right? Even Milner would catch one every now and again.

- Stafford should be required to high step back to the huddle after rushing for a first down right?

- A.J. Green has what I like to call “swagger”

- Stafford is gaining 3 to 4 draft spots per week with those deep throws.

- Near the end of the first half and it seems like lots of little things could have gone differently for Georgia. This game could be 17-7 pretty easily.

- How mediocre does it feel to be a South Carolina fan. Not just the team but like, “It’s Gameday in Columbia!” I’m so glad to have Athens to go back to every fall.

- The pace of this game has been brutal. The stoppages and stuff…I just feel for the players. No flow and that goes against the road team.

- Could have used a touchdown there… A little conservative on the play call though I don’t hate it. If we didn’t get the ball to start the 2nd half, I would hate it.

- I'm looking forward to watching Georgia run the ball the 2nd half. The offense need to assert themselves. That is all. Enjoy the second half.
