I am amazed by this. The NBA has granted the protest of a game by the Miami Heat against the Atlanta Hawks.
In the game, Shaq "fouled out" with 51.9 seconds remaining in overtime. The problem was he only have five fouls, as opposed to six. So now, the two teams are going to replay the final 51.9 seconds of the game.
I'm all for getting things right, but this is just crazy. Can you imagine if something like this ever happened in football? Maybe these blunders could have been erased.

Billy Donovan Wants To Coach The Deaner
Maybe not. But, he will be coaching Travis Diener. It's official, Billy Donovan has agreed to become the head coach of the Orlando Magic.I've seen people saying Donovan will be just like Rick Pitino, expecting Donovan will fail to continue his success in the NBA. Personally, I'm not worried about that. As far as Georgia is concerned, this being like Pitino would be very bad. The reason being that Kentucky won a national title under Tubby Smith the first year after Pitino left. As far as that goes, I don't see this being like the Pitino situation. Florida just lost too much. Add that to having the players learn a new system doesn't bode well for a third straight national title.
I think this will help Georgia get one step closer to the goal of being a top team in the always tough SEC East.

A Little On The Hawks
It couldn't have been a whole lot better for the Hawks tonight. Well, it really could have. Usually ending up with the 3rd and 11th overall picks in the draft would be crazy awesome. Only problem is this year is a two man draft. Deadspin said it best...
In other Hawks news, The Crafty Veteran came out of retirement back in October. Why didn't anyone tell me this? This guy is a huge Hawks fan...I know, who knew they still existed? Anyway, he went to Georgia and often throws in some obscure Bulldog references. If you're a Hawks and/or NBA fan, you should check him out.
It couldn't be more appropriate that the Hawks luck into not losing their pick to the Suns... but finish third in a two-horse race.Ha, don't you just know Billy Knight will mess this up and pick Joakim Noah at 3? He sure does love forwards...
