I've been getting a ton of requests for footage of the players dancing to Soulja Boy during the Ole Miss game. I haven't been able to find any yet, but I'll definitely post it if I come across any.
In the meantime, if you want to learn the dance the players were doing, there is actually an instructional video.
Apparently, the University of Texas football team has been watching this video a little too much. Check them out during their game against Central Florida.
I think we may want to learn from Texas a little here. If you get too good at the Soulja Boy dance, maybe you aren't practicing enough. Then, you end up almost losing to UCF and getting blown out by Kansas State.
Thanks to PCK for sending me the Texas video.

Random Video Clip of the Week
Watch and be amazed.
So, did he cheat?
First I'd like to point out that this was done on an original Nintendo, not the Wii. For those of you that don't know, you can buy old games for $5 and play them on the Wii. I have Mario on my Wii. Anyway, you can see at the beginning this is a Duck Hunt/Mario cartridge.
So, here's ways he could have cheated...
Exhibit A: My initial thought was he cheated because he jumps through the plants. However, I just tested this out on my Wii, and I was able to jump through the plants as well. As long as you just cross the tip of the plant at the peak of your jump and not on the way down, you are good. Who knew?
Exhibit B: Allegedly that warp on 4-2 without the vine can be done. That still seems fishy to me.
Exhibit C: 8-4 has multiple things that are beyond the possibilities of Mario physics. A plant magically disappears as he goes down a pipe. He also clearly hits the fire under water.
Due to the evidence in Exhibit C, I believe there was some sort of cheating involved.
That said, the timing of his jumping is out of this world. Go back and watch his jump to the flagpole on 8-2. Unbelievable.

Random Video Clip of the Week
Now, you can't top the beer pong guy, but deadspin already linked to that one. So, the next favorite video I came across this week was the Ode to Zach Braff. I also like Zach Braff...but not this much.
