Georgia senior tailback Kregg Lumpkin underwent an arthroscopic procedure to treat a torn lateral meniscus and a sprained posterior lateral complex in his left knee at Athens' St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, head coach Mark Richt announced following the Bulldogs' afternoon practice.I really, really hate this for Kregg. After his freshman season, we all expected him to do great things. Unfortunately, a series of injuries prevented that from coming to fruition.
In other injured tailback news, David Ching tells us it looks like Thomas Brown will not be back for the Florida game as it has been rumored.
Man, I wonder how Danny Ware feels about this. It just goes to show, you shouldn't make your decisions based on playing time. If you are going to be drafted on day one, by all means go pro. But if you are risking going undrafted because of playing time, stick it out. You never know what will happen.
