If you are like me, you're a little weird. You have gameday rituals. Stupid little things you do to "help" the Dawgs win on Saturday. So when it came time for last weekend's blackout, the thought definitely crossed your mind...What if I wear a different shirt and we lose? It crossed your mind, but you knew you had to wear black. The players wanted you to. So you did, and we won!
Then, you felt relieved. Ah, free from the madness! No longer do you have to worry about making sure your gameday shirt is clean. You can just wear any old Georgia shirt. It doesn't matter.
Oh, but wait...Georgia sure did play well when you wore that black shirt last weekend. What if you switch back to red and they don't play as well. Or even, gasp, lose...
I wonder how many people wear black to the game this weekend because of this thought process :-)
No doubt!! Not going to the game, but I'll probably be wearing my regular red shirt with my black hoodie under it. LOL I did the same last week.
ReplyDeleteI always buy a pint of my favorite Belgian beer and knock it back. Don't know how it got started....don't know even know why...but when I can't make it to the game, it's what I do!
