Wisconsin Badgers Dawgs

I didn't finish watching the basketball game until this morning. And I must say, I really enjoyed the first 28 minutes of game play. But after that, it got real ugly real quick.

Georgia led by 9 at the half (32-23), yet lost the game by 19 (68-49). We only scored 17 points in the second half!

In the first half, I don't recall any of those possessions where you see pass, pass, pass...and then Sundiata clearing out and taking a shot at the buzzer. That happened multiple times in the second half. We forgot how to, or were plain unable to work the ball inside in the second half.

In my opinion, this is a game we could have won with Takais Brown. But that is neither here nor there. Even if he wasn't dismissed, he would have been suspended for this game.

Hopefully this game shows our kids what it takes to win against a big time opponent. I just hope one of the freshmen forwards can step up and play big minutes down low. From what I've seen so far, it looks like Jeremy Price is the closest to being there.
