I thought Oklahoma would beat Missouri. But, I never would have thought Pitt would actually beat West Virginia. Are you kidding me?
The worst part is that now we have to wait ALL DAY LONG Sunday before we know what the heck will happen with the BCS.
I'm not going to make any kind of prediction. But, I really liked what Coach Richt had to say on Sportscenter tonight. He said the voters knew last week we couldn't win the SEC, yet we were still ahead of LSU. Why should that change now?
Right there with ya my friend. Right there with ya. Ugh!! This is killing me. I'm trying not to bounce off the wall right now and I'm driving my non-UGA husband absolutely crazy!!
ReplyDeleteI tried to explain the scenario to my wife who really doesn't know football. Without baiting her, she basically said that this is messed up. How can the 3 and 4 teams not move up especially after the voters made a concious decision to make them 3 and 4 the prior week.( at which point I smiled and said you just made Georgia's case!!!)
ReplyDeleteI have this thing about "so-called" sports like gymnastics and figure skating that it is subjective and you have to have judges decide the outcome. Football is as pure of a sport as it gets right up until the national champion is decided. The fact that we have to don't have a playoff system is nonsense and equated college football to GYMNASTICS. (Don't get me wrong- the gymnasts are total athletes!)
To boot- we are going to screwed out of the Rose Bowl to play USC and get stuck in the Sugar to play Hawaii. Ugh- I am sick to my stomach.
We just got partially screwed... Coaches poll is out and we are left at #4. Oklahoma and LSU jumped us.
