Can it get any worse for the basketball team?

I've asked this same question before. Apparently, the answer to this question the first time I asked it was definitely yes. Now, I just don't know. The loss to Vandy. The arrest and suspension of Billy Humphrey. I mean seriously, come on. This team just needs a freakin break.

It sounds like Humphrey is trying to turn a negative into a positive. He really needs to be resting his knee, and this three game suspension will give him the opportunity to do so.

I have mixed feelings. People probably didn't know that last night was going to be my last game anyway. The biggest punishment I'm facing is being suspended three games. Besides that, there's the legal issues. It's a nag, but it will get taken care of. It's nothing I haven't had to deal with before. Besides the fact it puts that negative image on our program again, like I said, I'm up and down about it.

Was Billy really going to shut things down anyway? I don't know. He's a 20 year old kid, and 20 year old kids say and justify things in odd ways sometimes. I'm sure some people will flip out and be upset with the things Billy said today, including Coach Felton. But in comparison to Fred Munzenmaier's incident...this was nothing.
