Another Quincy Article

I came across another article on Quincy Carter. This one is by Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star. It is a much more in depth article on Quincy's realization that he has a problem, his rehab stint, and his latest comeback attempt.

The article is four pages long, but here is the part that will jump out to Dawg fans.
Carter says he started smoking marijuana in high school, and says he used in college once or twice a week.
Makes you wonder about that injury he had his final year. I'm just sayin.

  1. No one with a problem only uses once or twice a week Quincy... You know he kept McWhorter stanky.

  4. This also shows why Quincy couldn't hit a curveball in the minors...

  5. When Quincy threw his fifth interception at South Carolina I was like is this guy high or something?

    I guess he was.

  6. I appreciate your blog and have seen your great vids on youtube (the Colt Brennan one was outstanding) but I dont understand why you focus on the arrests of former players. UGA has been great in FB recruiting and the Diamond Dawgs are one win away from the CWS. Do you have a problem posting positive news?

    Really?

We at the blawg hardly do that at all. First off, this post links to an article about Quincy's recovery and path back to the football field. It talks about his past arrests (the most recent of which was nearly a year ago by the way), but his arrests aren't the focal point of the article in my opinion.

    Did you read the article?

Aside from that, I feel like one of few people in the Bulldog Nation that get beind Quincy. Most people seem to dislike him. I don't. I'm genuinely pulling for him to turn things around.

Finally...I wouldn't be genuine if I wrote about the baseball team, because to be honest I really don't follow them. I'm happy when they win, and I appreciate what the do. But, I would be lying if I said that I followed the team.

And on recruiting, I've said several times on here why I don't follow it too closely...plus that ended in February.
