The whole Knowshon wasn't on SportsCenter thing is spreading like wildfire. Yesterday it was a topic of discussion on Deadspin. This morning, it is the featured story on Yahoo! (screen capture to the right)
What gives? Maybe ESPN really does have a conspiracy against Georgia and everyone is catching on...
I've been saying this for years, ESPN needs to fire the entire college football crew they have and get some people that are biased to the schools they once attended. I'm so sick of hearing every week how we aren't good enough, I just read their heisman watch and week 1 against GSU where knowshon only had 58 yards..they said was a dismal performance, WTF, he had 3 TOUCHDOWNS in 58 yards....that's rediculous. Anyways, #%@^ off ESPN, don't come wanting to be our friends later, hate us til the end.
ReplyDeleteThere is no conspiracy, just a couple of people screwed up. If UGA plays another SEC team and this happened, it wouldn't have happened because there would have been more eyes on the game.
ReplyDeleteBut to say its a conspiracy and not people screwing up is a bit much.
ESPN just signed a bajillion dollar contract with the SEC. It is in there best interest to pump up the SEC. Why would they hate on one particular team.
That being said, its still a screw up.
Even CNN Headline News ran a short piece about the controversy on Wednesday. They showed "The Hurdle" and mentioned that it had almost 200,000 hits on YouTube even though it wasn't broadcasted by the major sports media.
