Well...

Sorry for the lack of posting this week. It started off as a hangover from the Cocktail Party. Then, I got swamped at work, and now here we are at Thursday night. I don't have much to say about last Saturday other than we handed Florida the game. You can't turn the ball over four times and expect to win.

Now for those whining about the coordinators...the defense was put in horrible positions all day. Yes the penalty to wipe out a pick and the misalignment on the first td were both bad. But with the short field the Gators were working with all day, what do you expect? As for the offense, I actually think the plays were there to be made. Chandler open in the end zone, the ball bouncing off of Knowshon's facemask, and Massaquoi actually dominated. So I don't fault Bobo either. It was just a bad day.

Now we're on to Kentucky. Hopefully our guys can put last week behind them and take care of business. I really don't want to see either of these happen again.

  1. We definitely should blame the Defensive Coordinator. He is atrocious. I did some research the other day and found some really alarming statistics. In 4 years as the DC Van Gorder allowed 30+ points just one time. It was in the SEC Championship Game in 2003 to LSU. In three and half years Martinez has already allowed 30+ points 9 times, including a 50+ game at home to Tennessee in 06. He has allowed as you know two 40 point games this year. Georgia has the talent with all the 4 and 5 star recruits they snag year after year. So when they do not produce the blame should rest on the coaches. Coach Bowden told Coach Dooley that Coach Richt was to nice and I think we are about to see that.
