Coutu is Ready to Kick

Carter Strickland from the AJC has an article up talking about how having Coutu healthy affects the Georgia offense.

Coach Richt has an interesting point in there about the complexity that having Coutu available adds to the gameday decision making.
"In some ways [Coutu] adds pressure because if you're sitting at a 52-yard attempt and it's fourth-and-1 1/2, now it's not a no-brainer anymore," Richt said. "You say, 'Well we could go for it, but gosh, the kid could probably make it.' More than likely I'd kick it, where when he wasn't there, it was like, 'We know for sure we're going for it."

"We didn't have to sit there at that moment and wonder, 'What should we do?'"
First, I don't think I ever thought about it that way. I generally just thought, "Man, this stinks. Now we don't have anyone that can kick field goals."

Second, you've gotta love the fact that Richt said "gosh" in that quote. He really does love that word.
