Back in Action

I was really down on the loss to Vandy, so I haven't much felt like blogging. What a frustrating game to watch! The Dawgs kept hanging around but never could catch up. The thing that kills me from looking at the box score is that Mike Mercer took twice as many shots as Takais Brown. Granted he took three attempts in one trip (twice rebounded his own miss before making the third attempt), but still. Check the AJC for an article on Mercer's shooting woes. If Georgia is going to beat Florida tomorrow, I think Takais is going to have to be the focus of the offense. I also think we will need a big night from at least two of our three starting guards, Mercer, Stukes, and Gaines. But, what we don't need is the guards trying to do it all on their own. Florida is just too good for that to work against them. I've said before this team will be much better if the guards learn how to play with Takais. Give him the ball! If you are going to the game, please get there as early as you can, and get loud. I know that the Atlanta Gator Club will be there, so we will have to keep them in check.
